About 40 minutes from Västerås Airport, in the direction of Kolsva, lies a tract of land where a pack of wolves roam. Here Nordic Safari has built a hide with windows facing in all directions for to watch natures dramas.

Nordic Safari has no fixed schedule; they arrange visits for groups of 2 to 8 people. In addition to wolves this exciting wildlife concept includes bird safaris, animal safaris and rambling and other activities with our ‘Green Team’ guides in wild surroundings.

The area in which we take you along forest paths is currently home to about 5-7 wolves. Finding fresh tracks adds great excitement – we know they are close by and we can be sure that they are watching us. It is even more thrilling to spend a night here knowing that the pack is nearby; an experience you will never forget. We start with a gourmet lunch at our guide’s house. The visit then continues to the area containing the wolves where we settle ourselves in the newly built wolf hide. You will be told about wolves and the Uttersberg area. After a short evening stroll you have a good dinner while you look out over the surrounding open country. Next morning, after breakfast, we go for a longer walk in wolf country. The hide is equipped with sleeping bags, underlays and torches.
